Mmm, I'm the blog scribe today... Today being that of 3:03, September 27, Monday.
Today we have learned the significance of a hunch, and the power of an idea. Twitter began a idea, a simple program with the single intention of being able to post little messages to anyone who cares. Now today its massive, lots of people use twitter.
At anyrate today consisted of mainly work as time was given for us to work on the two math Personal Finance Questions 3 and 5. Mr Maksymchuk was open for any questions you may have had.

JOKES
Q: What do you get if you divide the cirucmference of a jack-o-lantern by its diameter?
A: Pumpkin Pi!
=D
A mathematician is flying non-stop from Edmonton to Frankfurt with AirTransat. The scheduled flying time is nine hours.
Some time after taking off, the pilot announces that one engine had to be turned off due to mechanical failure: "Don't worry - we're safe. The only noticeable effect this will have for us is that our total flying time will be ten hours instead of nine."
A few hours into the flight, the pilot informs the passengers that another engine had to be turned off due to mechanical failure: "But don't worry - we're still safe. Only our flying time will go up to twelve hours."
Some time later, a third engine fails and has to be turned off. But the pilot reassures the passengers: "Don't worry - even with one engine, we're still perfectly safe. It just means that it will take sixteen hours total for this plane to arrive in Frankfurt."
The mathematician remarks to his fellow passengers: "If the last engine breaks down, too, then we'll be in the air for twenty-four hours altogether!"

The Fourth Question
It's is clear that under the current circumstances Arielle the tattoo artist would have to pay a fine total of $43 085 for a new vehicle (GST, interest, everything included) if she was to pay $1289.38 in regular monthly intervals for a total of 36 months.
It is then discovered that Arielle is offered a lease for the SUV for three years. If she is to accept she would end up paying $61 a month for a grand total of $2194.44at the end of her contract.
Then in the event she was to do that, she has considered perhaps buying the vehicle at the end of 3 years. The value of the vehicle (payments, interest, gst) will be $23269.75 at the eve of the third year to her.
As a recommendation we would recommend that Arielle was to purchase the vehicle at the end of her three year contract as it would end up being significantly cheaper.
Any advantage related to the sudden purchase of the vehicle instead of participating in the three year contract would be of the following.
-She'll have vehicle in her possession instantly instead of having it through a lease.
